Dana White confirms Nate Diaz vs Jim Miller for UFC on FOX 3

UFC president Dana White announced moments ago on twitter that Nate Diaz will take on Jim Miller on May 5th in New Jersey for UFC on FOX 3.

Nate Diaz is coming off a very impressive win over Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone which earned him yet another Fight of the Night bonus. Diaz’s last loss at lightweight was an extremely close split decision against Gray Maynard, where a lot of fans thought Nate had done enough to beat Gray for the 2nd time.

Jim Miller bounced back from his first loss in eight in style last weekend at UFC on FX against Melvin Guillard, forcing the tap due to rear naked choke.

UFC on FOX 3 will take place on the same night as Floyd Mayweather against Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto or Saul Alvarez. Depending on who is confirmed as Mayweather’s opponent UFC on FOX 3 could take a serious hit.
