Owen Roddy and Paddy Holohan sign 5-fight deals with Cage Warriors

Cage Warriors has today added top Irish stars Owen Roddy and Paddy Holohan to its roster of fighters.

The SBG pair have signed exclusive five-fight contracts to compete under the CWFC banner over the next 18 months.

Roddy (10-3-0) is an Irish featherweight champion who is regarded as one of the top prospects in the division in Europe.

He’s currently on a seven-fight win streak that stretches back to April 2008 and his most recent victory came against UFC veteran Shannon Gugerty earlier this month.

Holohan (9-0-1) is an unbeaten bantamweight who also picked up the biggest win of his career recently, submitting top European opponent Artemij Sitenkov after just 2:50 of the first round of their bout in Dublin.

Both Roddy and Holohan will make their Cage Warriors debuts over the coming months.

“These are two more of the best prospects in Ireland that we’ve added to the Cage Warriors roster and I’m very happy to have them on board,” said Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan.

“As an Irishman myself, I’m obviously very keen to ensure that Irish fighters get the opportunities they deserve to show what they can do on the international stage. This is a good piece of business for all involved.”
