TUF veteran Ali Maclean signs with Cage Contender, debuts October in Belfast

One of Northern Ireland’s most popular fighters, TUF 15 cast member Ali “Insane” Maclean is on his way to a homecoming fight at Cage Contender XV this October.

In his first fight since his appearance on The Ultimate Fighter Maclean will step into the arena at the world famous Kings Hall Complex on October 20th to face a yet unnamed opponent. The ever popular Maclean holds a fight record of 9-5-0 with notable wins over high caliber opposition in the form of Tommy Maguire and Bobby McVittie.

He is on a 5 fight win streak not having lost since the middle of 2010.

Well know to the Northern Ireland public due to his fights on Cage Wars Championships, Maclean last fought in front of a home crowd when he claimed the CWC Lightweight crown in December 2010 at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena.
