Eight bouts including Paul Redmond vs Teodorczuk & Aisling Daly vs Benitez added to Cage Warriors 63

The bill for Cage Warriors 63 is now finalised with today’s announcement of eight further bouts.

Cage Warriors 63 will happen this New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, at The Helix in Dublin, Ireland.

An injury to Paul Redmond (8-3,) put their lightweight clash at CWFC Fight Night 9 on ice, but the Irishman will be back on the hunt for his sixth consecutive Cage Warriors win when he finally goes head-to-head with hotly-tipped Polish prospect Mateusz Teodorczuk (10-2) at CWFC 63.

Also on the main card, Ireland’s top female star Aisling Daly (13-5) returns from a year-long hiatus for a strawweight encounter with Venezuelan Muay Thai specialist Karla Benitez (11-5-1).

Having suffered his first career loss at the hands of Stevie Ray in the final of the CWFC lightweight title tournament last month, Englishman Sean Carter (7-1) will be keen to get back to winning ways when he goes up against Irishman Myles Price (7-4).

The first of three women’s bouts on the CWFC 63 card will be a flyweight tussle involving Irish MMA debutant Amanda English (0-0) and Italian visitor Slavka Vitaly (2-0).

Meanwhile, the unstreamed portion of the night’s undercard will feature some of Ireland’s best up-and-coming prospects. Kieran O’Brien will face Mick Brennan at featherweight, Gavin Kelly and Dylan Sheehan will clash in a bantamweight bout, featherweights Sean Tobin and Chris Boujard will also collide, in addition to a welterweight contest between Kevin Booth and Rob Leybourne.
