Following his superb victory over Phil Harris at UFC Dublin in July, Neil Seery has been given his next assignment. The Dubliner steps in to face Richie Vaculik at the upcoming card in Sydney, Australia in November after Vaculik’s original opponent, Ray Borg, was forced to pull out of the fight today.

Vaculik is a veteran on the Australian scene and came to prominence on the recent “The Ultimate Fighter: Smashes” series. The Aussie has an impressive 10-2 career record and is 1-1 in the UFC, the same record as Seery. His sole UFC victory came against Roldan Sangcha-an in June of this year.

Seery has impressed in his UFC career so far with a super, ultimately losing, effort against Brad Pickett after taking the fight on short notice and the aforementioned demolition of Harris at UFC Dublin. The Team Ryano flyweight is a former Cage Warriors champion and will be looking to work his way up the ranks against “Vas”.
