Tom Duquesnoy vs Alan Philpott set for 16th December in Dublin

BAMMA’s ticketing partner Ticketmaster announced moments ago that BAMMA champion Tom Duquesnoy will defend his 135lb strap against Lonsdale champion Alan Philpott at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland

As broken yesterday by Peter Carroll, the event will be a collaboration between Bellator MMA and BAMMA.

Sources close to the fight have told SevereMMA that the bout is not yet signed but it is in the works and should be official soon.

Tom Duquesnoy (13-1-0, 1 NC) is one of most highly rated prospects outside of the UFC and has won both the BAMMA 135lb and 145lb championships.

Alan Philpott became the BAMMA Lonsdale 135lb champion back in February 2016 with a TKO finish of Nathaniel Wood before defending his strap in his last BAMMA outing against Aaron Blackwell over three rounds.

Tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster on Friday 14th October 2016 at 9am IST (Irish and UK time).
