Forsyth vs Knoebel, Mlambo vs Deaja and Scatizzi vs Al Selawi confirmed for Brave 4

Brave Combat Feberation revealed today that SBG Ireland’s Daniele Scatizzi will face Jarrah Al Selawi at Brave 4: Unstoppable in Abu Dhabi in a welterweight bout

Scatizzi (8-2) started his career a perfect 6-0 before dropping back to back loses in Venator FC back in 2015. Since then the Italian defeated Daniele Miceli by first round TKO and Bartłomiej Kurczewski by unanimous decision.

In his most recent outing Jarrah Hussein Al-Silawi (8-2) defeated Erik Carlsson (5-2) at Brave CF 2: Dynasty in December 2016.

The promotion also confirmed that Irishman Ben Forsyth will face Marco Knoebel in a light-heavyweight clash.

Knoebel is 4-1 as a professional having defeated Sebastian Heil via first round knockout in his last outing at Respect FC 15 back in March 2016.

Forsyth is 2-1 as a pro after a successful amateur career that ended with Forysth capturing the 2015 IMMAF European Championship gold medal at light-heavyweight.

Also set for the card but yet to be confirmed by the promotion, Jalal Deaja will face SBG Ireland’s Frans Mlambo who captured the 2015 IMMAF World Championships featherweight gold medal as an amateur before turning professional at BAMMA 22 with a first round KO of Darren O’Gorman (4-1).

Since then Mlambo (2-2) lost out to TUF veteran Changxin Fu (6-1) , defeated Luke Ord (4-1-1) via TKO and lost a decision to Stephen Loman (9-2) in his most recent bout.

Jalal Deaja (3-2) lost out to Nawras Abzakh (6-0) via an armlock is his latest MMA bout at Phoenix FC 1 in December 2016.

[Press Release] Brave Combat Federation announced its fourth installment for March 31st, in Abu Dhabi (UAE), and the upcoming event will be the stage for the debut of Italy’s top welterweight, the recently signed Daniele Scatizzi.

As firstly reported by the website ArabsMMA, Scatizzi will make his first Brave appearance against Middle Eastern superstar, Jordan’s Jarrah Al Selawi (8-2 MMA, 1-0 Brave).

A very aggressive and versatile fighter, Jarrah is a former welterweight champion and has one of the biggest fanbases in the region.

Scatizzi, 23, is originally from Rome. He currently lives and trains at Straight Blast Gym Ireland, under the mentoring of coach John Kavanagh and alongside Conor McGregor.

“Scat” has a professional record of 8 wins and 2 losses. A Bellator veteran, with a win over his fellow countryman Daniele Miceli, Scatizzi beat Bartlomiej Kurczewski via unanimous decision in his last bout at VCE 5, in Italy.

Brave 4: Unstoppable takes place March 31 at IPIC Arena, Zayed Sports City, in Abu Dhabi.

The event is headlined by a the promotion’s inaugural featherweight title fight between Elias Boudegzdame and Masio Fullen.
