McColgan vs Carter and more added to Cage Warriors 86

[Press Release] Three matchups have been added to the Cage Warriors 86 fight card on Saturday September 16 in London, U.K,

Lightweights Joe McColgan (3-1) and Sean Carter (12-5) will do battle at 155lbs, while Cage Warriors veteran Warren Kee (8-5-1) returns to action against Marcus Paul (1-0) in a middleweight bout.

The third fight sees Norway’s Håkon Foss (8-4) take on Jamie Richardson (5-3) at 170lbs.

But one popular Cage Warriors star has been ruled out of the event. Welsh welterweight Lewis Long was due for action at Indigo at The O2 on September 16, but has unfortunately been forced off the card due to injury. Long is now scheduled to fight at Cage Warriors 87 in Wales, October 14.

This brings the list of confirmed matchups for London to nine, with the card topped by a battle for the Cage Warriors bantamweight title, as London’s own Nathaniel ‘The Prospect’ Wood (11-3) looks to make a successful first defence of his belt when he takes on hard-charging Welsh contender Josh ‘Crazy Horse’ Reed (7-0).
