The news that many Irish MMA fans were hoping for came this morning as it was announced by the UFC that Dublin banger Neil Seery will feature on the upcoming UFC Dublin fight night against Jon Delos Reyes.

Fighting out of the Team Ryano gym in Dublin, Seery has quickly become a fan favourite in his short time fighting inside the UFC’s Octagon. In his four fights to date, Seery, a former Cage Warriors champion, has beaten Phil Harris and Chris Beal while losses to Brad Pickett and Louis Smolka in fight of the night contenders have done nothing to diminish his fanbase.

Like Seery, Jon Delos Reyes entered the UFC in 2014 and has been an exciting addition to the flyweight division with all three of his fights finishing inside the distance. Losses to Dustin Kimura and former title challenger Kyoji Horiguchi were a touch start to his Octagon career but last time out the Guam native managed to get his first win over Roldan Sangcha-an.

UFC fight night Dublin takes place in the 3Arena on October 24th in the capital’s docklands with tickets going on sale today.
