Frans Mambo will take part in his second professional MMA fight in Japan on Friday against Chinese fighter Changxin Fu. Mlambo was previously a boxer and a kickboxer before joining SBG and delving into the world of MMA. He built up a considerable amateur record which led to him winning the IMMAF World Championships in 2015. His first professional fight was at BAMMA in the 3arena where he stopped Darren O’Gorman in the first round. Chagxin Fu took part in The Ultimate Fighter: China but he fell at the first hurdle to eventual finalist Jianping Yang. Since that disappointment he has amassed a 3-1 record as a professional in China.

Staying in Asia and another former TUF: China competitor is in action. This time it is in China at Kunlun Fight 36. Sai Wang lost in the finale of the show but picked up a win in the UFC against Danny Mitchell before leaving the promotion. Since then he has rattled off four stoppage victories in a row. Also on that card Karla Benitez will meet Jin Tang. Benitez has lost any time she has face the sports elite and he record includes defeats to Megumi Fujii, Aisling Daly and Joanna Jędrzejczyk but she is currently on a two fight winning streak. Tang is on a three fight streak of her own but she has also fallen short when facing elite competition with losses to Justine Kish and Maryna Moroz on her record.

Saturday brings us to Sao Paulo, Brazil for Jungle Fight 85. The promotion’s lightweight title will be on the line in a fight between Rander Junior and Michel Silva. Junior has a 9-1 record and he trains out of the Constrictor Team alongside Rani Yahya and Francisco Trinaldo. He has wins under the Shooto Brazil and Jungle Fights banners and his only defeat is to UFC fighter Islam Makhachev. Silva is currently on a five fight winning streak which has brought his record to 15-3-1.

Jungle Fight women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Lemos will defend her title for the first time against Mayra Cantuaria. Both women are undefeated but inexperienced. Lemos has a 5-0 record with all stoppages while Cantuaria has finished both of her fights by submission to give her a 2-0 record.

On the American regional scene this week Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett. Krazy Horse is a wild personality who is known more for that than his fighting skills but he has competed in Pride and EliteXC in the past but lately he has been losing more than he has been winning on the regional circuit. In a fight that is a long way away from his battles with Takanori Gomi and KJ Noons, Krazy Horse will fight journeyman Jimmy Zidek at King Of The Cage in Minnesota.

Another fighter who has previously competed at the top level is Kyle Bradley. Bradley went 1-3 in the UFC with losses to Chris Lytle, Joe Lauzon and Rafael Dos Anjos sealing his departure from the promotion despite a victory over Phillipe Nover. He has never been able to put a sustained run of victories together since then. This weekend he will take on Nolan Norwood at WFC 46 in Louisiana.
