Three UFC events in Canada this year; GSP vs Condit expected for UFC 154

Today the UFC held a special press conference in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to announce the company’s intentions with the country over the next several years.

UFC president Dana White confirmed that the promotion is poised to have three shows in 2012 and plans to continue that trend for the next 24-months.

The three-annual promised events will start off with UFC 149 in Calgary on July 21st, the UFC will then head to Toronto for UFC 152 on September 22nd and will round out the calendar year in Canada with UFC 154 in Montreal on November 17th.

The November date in Montreal lines up perfectly with UFC welterweight champion, Georges St.-Pierre’s expected return date and the promotion as well as GSP hope to put on the Condit vs. GSP title unification bout on this card.
