Jai Herbert signs for UFC: Fights Marc Diakiese at UFC London

Jai ‘The Black Country Banger’  Herbert has signed for the UFC and will face Marc ‘Bonecrusher’  Diakiese at UFC London on March 21st as first reported by Newsone MMA.

Herbert (10-1-0) will relinquish his Cage Warriors lightweight title and step into the UFCs octagon for the first time. The Birmingham man is riding a 6 fight win streak, 3 of which came in 2019 under the Cage Warriors banner. His most recent victory came back in October of last year when he had a beautiful KO over former Bellator and UFC fighter Cain Carrizosa.

He faces fellow Brit Marc Diakiese who fights out of American Top Team in Florida. Diakiese who is coming off the back of two very impressive victories over Joe Duffy and Lando Vannata. He was all set to face Stevie Ray originally at UFC London. Unfortunately for Ray he had to pull out last week under circumstances unknown.

UFC London takes place Saturday March 21st in the O2 Arena, London. The main event is Tyron Woodley vs. Leon Edwards.
