UFC 261 Results

Three title fights are set to go down in front of a capacity crowd of 15,000. On Saturday April 24, UFC 261 goes down at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

Check out all the results and highlights as they happen below.

The arena was electric for the first contest of the evening. Ariane Carnelossi and Na Liang started the fight at a blistering pace in the women’s strawweight division. Carnelossi ground and pounded her way to victory when she stopped Liang in the second round.

Aoriqileng and Jeff Molina went to battle in the 125-pound division. Both men left it all in the octagon but it was Molina who got the nod on the scorecards.

Kazula Vargas and Rongzhu locked horns in the lightweight division. Vargas got the nod from all three judges to pick up his first UFC win.

Danaa Batgerel made short work of Kevin Natividad in their bantamweight encounter. The Mongolian fighter got a TKO stoppage inside the first round.

Brendan Allen got his hand raised in victory tonight. Karl Roberson was force to tap when he got caught in a heel-hook in the final seconds of round one.

Randy Brown floored Alex Oliveira with a huge right hand early in round one of their welterweight fight. Brown locked in a rear naked choke later in the round forcing the Brazilian to tap.

Anthony Smith put on a clinic in his win over Jimmy Crute in the 205-pound division. The Doctor called a stop after round one had ended as Crute was unable to walk after eating a huge calf kick midway through the first round.

Valentina Shevchenko put in a dominating performance and defended her flyweight title in style. The champion trapped challenger Jéssica Andrade in a crucifix, landed multiple elbows and forced the stoppage in the second round.

Rose Namajunas stunned champion Zhang Weili with a first round head kick knockout. Namajunas becomes the two time strawweight champion.

Middleweight: Uriah Hall def. Chris Weidman via TKO (leg injury) at 0:17 of round 1

Light Heavyweight: Anthony Smith def. Jimmy Crute via TKO (doctor stoppage) at round 1
