Brookins vs Yahya & Simpson vs Markes added to UFC on FUEL card

The UFC announced on Wednesday that Ultimate Fighter winner Jonathan Brookins (12-4) will face former WEC fighter Rani Yahya (16-7) and that Aaron Simpson will face Brazilian Ronny Markes (12-1) both at UFC on Fuel in February.

Brookins is coming off a tough loss to rising star Erik Koch, but is very tough, having only been finished once in his MMA career against Featherweight champ Jose Aldo. Yahya is also coming off a decision loss, to number 1 contender Chad Mendes.

Aaron Simpson (11-2) is on a three fight winning streak since losing a decision to Mark Munoz and being TKOed by Chris Leben. Markes is coming off wins against former prospect Paulo Filho and a decision win in his UFC debut against Karlos Vemola.
