Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar retires from MMA

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar announced his retirement from Mixed Martial Arts after his first round TKO loss to Alistair Overeem moments ago.

Lesnar (5-3) cut Overeem early in the bout but looked completely over matched as ‘The Reem’ picked him apart with knees and kicks to the body.

Lesnar told Joe Rogan in the Octagon after the fight explaining that he had always planned to retire if he lost but would have once more had he beaten Alistair Overeem.
