Mark Munoz vs Gegard Mousasi set for main event of UFC Fight Night in Berlin

This afternoon the UFC announced that Mark Munoz will take on Gegard Mousasi in a five round main event at UFC Fight Night Berlin on 31st May at The O2 World.

“I’ve always wanted to go to Berlin. To be able to compete there is an added bonus. Berlin is a historic place and I’m looking forward to being part of MMA history and putting on a great show for the fans! Mousasi is a great opponent and competitor. I am looking forward to competing against him and getting one step closer to fighting for the title.” said Munoz via press release

This event falls on the same date as The Ultimate Fighter Brazil season 3 finale, with time differences it will be interesting to see if both events will be on the same day.

Tickets for UFC Fight Night Berlin go on general sale on Wednesday 2nd April.

Further card details will be announced at the press conference in Berlin, which is taking place on Thursday 3rd April.
