BAMMA announce their first ever Irish event in 3Arena this September

BAMMA confirmed today that they will hold an event in Ireland for the first time on Saturday 19th September 2015.

BAMMA 22 will take place at the 3Arena in Dublin and will feature a main event of highly rated prospect and featherweight champion Tom Duquesnoy taking on former The Ultimate Fighter contestant Brendan Loughnane.

This will be the first time that an MMA promotion other than the UFC have held an event in such a big arena in Ireland with the likes of Cage Warriors and Cage Contender using smaller venues like The Helix and The National Basketball Arena.

Loughnane defeated Frenchman Steve Polifonte at BAMMA 19 by a dominant decision after TKOing Florian Rousseau in the 1st round back at BAMMA 17 in December 2015.

It was also announced today that the Sambo specialist Duquesnoy has signed a new contract with BAMMA.
