UFC announce event in Hamburg, Germany in September

[Press Release]The fourth UFC EMEA event to take place in 2016 will be hosted in Hamburg on September 3, the UFC announced today.

The news was released today, to an expectant crowd of fans and media who were gathered at the Rotterdam Ahoy Arena ahead of the weigh in for UFC Fight Night : Overeem vs Arlovski.

It will be the third consecutive UFC event in Germany, after successful UFC events in Berlin in 2014 and 2015, but the first time the UFC will travel to the city of Hamburg, known for its boxing heritage. UFC also travelled to Germany in 2009 and 2010 to host events in Cologne and Oberhausen respectively.

Tickets to the event go on sale to the general public at 10:00 CET Friday May 27 and although the card is yet to be revealed, excitement is building in anticipation of potential bouts to be announced in the coming weeks.
