[Press Release] With just a month to go until ACB 47 in Glasgow the card is shaping up to be one of the best the UK has ever seen. Already sporting great fights and names like Danny Mitchell vs Jake Bostwick, Norman Parke vs Andrew Fisher and the main event between Robert Whiteford vs Kevin Petshi ACB today announce the addition of the fantastic featherweight showdown between Mike ‘The Warrior’ Wilkinson vs Daniel Teymur.

Daniel Teymur is one of not just Sweden’s but Europe’s most highly touted MMA prospects. Training out of the famed AllStars Training Centre alongside names like Alexander Gustafsson, Reza Madadi and Magnus Cedenblad you need fighting to be on your DNA to hold your own on their mats and Teymur certainly has that as he also trains alongside his brother David Teymur a fighter who is currently making a name for himself in the UFC with a record of 2-0 in the organization.

Daniel has an impressive record of his own as he is 5-0 in his pro career with not only all of his fights ending in finishes but with them also all ending within the very first round. He’s is a fighter who is quick out f the blocks and has shown he has talents in all areas with 2 of his wins coming by KO and with 3 by submission. This fight will be a real test of Daniel and if he too has the potential to climb the MMA ladder as his brother before his has already done.

They say a wolf is most dangerous when it’s hurt so this may well be the worst time to face Mike Wilkinson as he is looking to bounce back from the first 2 fight losing streak in his career. Both losses came by decision against awkward opponents in fights that would see the spirits of many fighters wilt and give up but there was no sign of that from Wilkinson who’s ‘Warrior’ spirit has no quit in it. Just days after his last fight he was calling for his next challenge and asking for a fight to prove himself again and his call was heard as he now faces this tough test against the very dangerous Teymur.

Wilkinson rose through the MMA ranks with a devastating style that took him on an 8 fight win streak with wins over the likes of Artem Lobov and Brendan Loughnane. He will be looking to reclaim this form and show why he is one of the most feared 145lb fighters out there with a win in impressive style in Glasgow on October the 1st.

Fans in Glasgow look set to enjoy this battle as both fighters like to stand and bang and both have the power to end this quickly with one clean punch. Sprinkle on top of that some previous bad blood from the highlight reel knock out Wilkinson holds over Teymurs team mate Niklas Backstrom and we have the recipe for ‘Fight of the Night’ right here.
