Rhys McKee vs Josh Collins set for BAMMA 32; Fabian Edwards vs Louis King added to BAMMA 33

[Press Release] BAMMA is pleased to announce that two of the promotion’s biggest stars in Rhys ‘Skeletor’ McKee and Fabian ‘The Assassin’ Edward have extended their contracts with the promotion.

Rhys ‘Skeletor’ McKee signs on the dotted line once more with the promotion that he made his debut with, and will face Josh ‘Collision’ Collins in a Welterweight Bout at BAMMA Dublin on Friday 10th November at the 3Arena.

”I am chuffed to be back with BAMMA, I’ve had an amazing journey with the promotion so far and I have my eyes set on being the #1 in the organisation !! I’m back taking victims and belts and whatever else comes with that!! Watch this space I’m hungry!!!”

Fabian ‘The Assassin’ Edwards has been living up to his nickname since debuting with the promotion. With several highlight reel finishes that have gone viral, he aims to make Louis ‘KO’ King his next one at BAMMA Newcastle on December 15th at the Metro Radio Arena.

“I’m really happy to annouce that I have re-signed with BAMMA , it was a no brainer as BAMMA is the biggest show in Europe and there’s a few people I still need to KO. Somebody tell Mike ‘Sea Bass’ Shipman that the Fisherman is coming!”

Ahead of the BAMMA World Flyweight Title fight, bamma.com caught up with BAMMA Interim Champion and number one contender Andy ‘Taz’ Young to discuss his bout at the 3Arena on Friday 10th November, his training regime and his thoughts on opponent Daniel Barez.

“He should just stay at home getting some tapas…coming over here all he will be getting is tapped out.”- Andy ‘Taz’ Young

The next fight to be EXCLUSIVELY revealed for BAMMA Newcastle is a huge Welterweight prospect clash, as Josh ‘Power’ Plant takes on Justin Burlinson.

It’s time for the next generation of BAMMA fighters to put their skills on display on the start of the road to title glory. The Impact Power and Fitness fighter Josh ‘Power’ Plant (1-0) had his debut temporarily put on hold earlier this year as he was unable to compete at BAMMA 29, but now gets to open his account with the promotion on December 15th in Newcastle.

Standing across the cage from Plant will be the highly regarded Justin Burlinson (1-0) from The Dungeon BJJ Gym. Burlinson is seen as a top prospect by many, after going 15-1 in his amateur career. After securing his first pro win in August, the stage is now set for what should be a spectacular fight for the BAMMA Newcastle prelims.

BAMMA Newcastle takes place on Friday 15th December at the Metro Radio Arena and tickets are on sale now from bamma.com
