Norman Parke vs Lukasz Chlewicki set for KSW 43

[Press Release] After a pair of title matches against Mateusz Gamrot in 2017, ‘Stormin’ Norman Parke (23-6-1) will return to the KSW arena on April 14th to face a new opponent in Polish veteran Lukasz Chlewicki (14-7-1) at KSW 43 in Wroclaw, Poland.

Parke made his promotional debut at the historic KSW 39 event in front of 57.766 people at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland. After a controversial and hard fought fight it was Mateusz Gamrot who got the nod on the judges scorecard. An immediate rematch was made and took place at KSW 41 in Dublin, Ireland but that fight was cut short after Parke couldn’t continue due to an eye injury sustained in the second round.

The TUF Smashes winner and nine-fight UFC veteran is now looking forward to facing a new opponent but is expecting a tough fight against Chlewicki.

“Chlewicki is a scrapper and is very solid and durable,” said Parke. “He has faced tough guys throughout his career and he always comes to fight. May the best man win!”

39-year-old Lukasz Chlewicki certainly has competed against some of the best throughout his career. His fight resume includes opponents like Damian Maia, Paul Daley, and Mateusz Gamrot. His latest fight in KSW came against Paul Redmond in the Irishman’s hometown of Dublin. In this fight Chlewicki proved he still is incredibly tough as he pushed Redmond three round and narrowly lost a decision.

KSW 43 takes place April 14 from the breathtaking and historic Hala Stulecia venue, built over 100 years ago. Olympic medalist Damian Janikowski (2-0) will main event his first KSW and in his hometown against former BAMMA & EFC middleweight champ Yannick Bahati (8-3). Two of the top prospects in MMA today will meet in the co-main event as Roberto Soldic (13-2) defends his recently acquired welterweight title against two-weight EFC champion Dricus Du Plessis (11-1) and Michal Andryszak (20-6) will battle Phil De Fries (14-6) for the vacant KSW heavyweight title.
