Richard Kiely to Face MVP at Bellator Dublin

The big fight we’ve all been waiting for has finally been announced as today Bellator revealed to the Mirror that Irishman Richard Kiely will face highly touted English point fighting magician Micahael ‘Venom’ Page at Bellator Dublin. 

Kiely (3-1) is also a noted striker and has campaigned vigorously for a shot at Page (14-1) despite being still in the early bouts of his MMA career. Having fought for the BAMMA title in just his third professional fight, Kiely, though, is used to a big step up quickly.  

For Page it will be seen as a chance to rebuild following the first loss of his career after he was heavily knocked out by Douglas Lima in May. That loss came after opening his career with 14 (mostly) impressive wins against the likes of Ricky Rainey, David Rickels and, most notably, Paul Daley. 

Bellator Dublin takes place on September 27th in the 3Arena Dublin. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
