Dylan Logan Joins Team KF after leaving SBG

Former Bellator Featherweight Dylan ‘Logy Bear’ Logan has parted ways with SBG Ireland and has joined Team KF.

The 25 year old has decided to make the move from SBG following a long layoff from competition and believing he needed to change some things in his camp. Discussing the move, he told SevereMMA:

“I feel like I need more one-on-one coaching and a little more time spent focussed on myself. My striking is there, my ground game is there but it’s the blending of the disciplines I feel I need to work on and that’s something I believe Chris and the team at KF will be able to assist me with.

“I needed a change up in my approach and the move to Team KF felt like the perfect decision in order to get my career back on track; I’m absolutely delighted with the move so far and I’m excited to see what’s next for me.”

Logan insists there was no bad blood that led to the move, he said: “There’s absolutely no bad feeling or ill reasoning behind my decision to leave SBG. I loved my time there and will always be grateful to the coaches and my team mates for the time they spent helping me progress my career to the stage it’s at now. I wish them all the best for the future.”

It’s been a long 17 months since ‘Logy Bear’ last made the walk. His last outing was back at Bellator Dublin, where he faced Calum Murrie. The Featherweight is looking forward to getting back out competing, no matter which promotion it’s on.

“I am dying to get back in there and fight. I have been working twice a day, every day for the last year and half. I can see so many improvements in myself and can’t wait to display them.

“Bellator back in Dublin in November would be great because I would love to right the wrongs of my last performance in front of my home crowd but if that’s not a possibility, I know there will be plenty of opportunities for me.

“The Cage Warriors Featherweight division looks great at the minute, there are a few guys in there who I have already expressed interest in fighting. Taka had an incredible time at EFC, the opportunity to travel to a different part of the world and build a fanbase there too would, of course, be an amazing opportunity.

Logan joins an abundance of talent on the mat at Team KF, training alongside the likes of Taka Mhandu & Ryan Shelley. Although there is no date officially set for his return, Logan will be keen to make the walk as soon as possible.
