UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Till Results

UFC Vegas 36 went down on Saturday night, UK”s own Dareen Till went up against Derek Brunson in the main event. Also in the co-main event, UK based heavyweight Tom Aspinall takes on Sergey Spivak. Check out all the highlights and the official results below.

Marc-Andre Barriault picked up the win over Dalcha Lungiambula in a real slugfest to open up the card. Barriault, who was born in Quebec, Canada, has won in his last two trips to the octagon having lost his first three UFC fights. The middleweight moves to 13-4 in his professional career.

Julian Erosa came in to take on Charles Jourdain on short notice and came away with the win. ‘Juicy J’ traded big shots with his Canadian rival throughout rounds one and two. It what was a pretty even fight Erosa jumped on a Darce choke and forced the tap from Jourdain in round three.

Jack Shore remained undefeated when he defeated Liudvik Sholinian by unanimous decision to move to 15-0. The Welshman was in total control throughout the fight, he used his superior grappling and showcased some crisp striking throughout the fight. Sure this win will see Shore take on some ranked fighters in his next fight.

Molly McCann got back inside the win column when she took home a unanimous decision win on the judges’ scorecards. ‘Meatball’ landed some heavy shots throughout the fight and got hurt in round one after a clash of heads. The Liverpool based flyweight recovered and did enough to take home the win after a three round battle.

Paddy Pimblett lived up to all the hype as he knocked out Luigi Vendramini in the first round of their lightweight contest. Pimblett was wobbled by his Brazilian opponent early in the fight, the Liverpool man recover and moved forward landing a barrage of punches with the final right hook which sent Vendramini crashing into the mat.

Khalil Rountree Jr. destroyed the knee Modestas Bukauskas when he landed an oblique kick in round two of their light-heavyweight contest.

Alex Morono started slow but gradually turned up the heat on David Zawada enroute to winning a unanimous decision. The welterweight won his second fight on the bounce and moves to 20-7 in his fight career.

Tom Aspinall, one on the hottest properties in the heavyweight division, made easy work of Sergey Spivak in the co-main event. All 11 wins of Aspinall’s career have been finishes as he added to that record by landing a big elbow off the clinch and finishing with some ground and pound.

Derek Brunson won his fifth straight fight went he tapped out Darren Till in their middleweight main event. Till could not stop the takedown of Brunson throughout the fight and found himself on his back eating big shots for the majority of the fight. Early in round three Brunson was hurt by a flurry but he managed to level change, scrambled into mount and secured a rear naked choke on Till who was forced to tap.
