Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori went toe-totoe in the UFC Vegas 41 main event which took place in the light heavyweight division. “The Black Country Banger” Jai Herbert was in search of his first UFC win. The former Cage Warriors lightweight champion took on Khama Worthy in the lightweight division. Also in search of his first UFC win, former double Cage Warriors champion Mason “The Welsh Dragon” Jones, he took on undefeated David Ohanna in a lightweight clash. Check out all the highlight and the official results from the card below.

Jeff Molina extended his winning streak to nine fights as he took out Daniel Lacerda in the second round in the flyweight division. Molina looks a real prospect and could provide a challenge down the line to champion Brandon Moreno who was in attendance.

Jai Herbert put on a quality showing in his lightweight showdown with Khama Worthy. Herbert showed some shape striking and landed a beautiful flurry on Worthy which sent him crashing the canvas. The “The Black Country Banger” picked up his first UFC win in impressive fashion.

Jamie Pickett looked a decent prospect in the middleweight division as he picked up a decision win over Laureano Staropoli.

Tabatha Ricci put on a utterly dominating performance over fellow Brazilian Maria de Oliveira in the women’s strawweight division.

Glory MMA lightweight David Onama came in against Mason Jones on only one weeks notice and put on a stellar performance. Both athletes exchanged blows and both were hurt throughout the fight. The power of Onama seemed to bother the former Cage Warriors double champion who rely on his superior grappling to get the win on the judges scorecards.

Jun Yong Park and Gregory Rodrigues put on a fantastic fight in the middleweight division. Park hurt Rodrigues hurt but the Brazilian recovered and landed some big shots of his own which resulted in a standing knockout victory.

Nicolae Negumereanu opened up the main card with a first round knockout over Ike Villanueva.

Francisco Trinaldo, at 43-years old, picked up the 27th win of his professional career over Dwight Grant in the welterweight division. Trinaldo has a point taken for an eye poke but that was not enough to stop the judges from awarding him the decision.

“Bruce Leroy” survived being knocked down and being struck with an illegal knee in his faceoff with Seung Woo Choi. The featherweight pulled off the second round submission and has won his last five in a row and is surely looking at facing a ranked opponent next.

Grant Dawson and Rick Glenn fought in a closed affair which resulted in a majority draw. Dawson started strong in the co-main event before Glenn poured it on in round three.

Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori went to war in the light-heavyweight main event. Vettori pushed the pace and took some ferocious shot from his Brazilian counterpart throughout the fight which showed off his granite chin.
