Muhammad Mokaev signs with UFC

One of Mixed Martial Arts top prospects, Muhammad Mokaev, has signed for the UFC. The former 4x IMMAF world champion made the announcement today on his Instagram page.

Mokaev will follow in the footsteps of fellow Dagestani, Khabib Nurmagomedov, in joining the UFC flyweight division and is set to become the youngest athlete on the roster.

Mokaev has spent his professional career between the Middle Eastern promotion Brave CF, and the Irish MMA promotion Celtic Gladiator. He enters the UFC with an undefeated professional record of 5-0, but with an astounding amateur record of 25-0.

The flyweight is known for his aggressive and relentless wrestling style, and with a number of exciting grapplers already in the UFC’s flyweight division, there could be alot of fantastic matchups to be made in the future.
