Lee Hammond vs. Callum Stuart set for Inaugural Eire FC Show

Lee Hammond, who is one of Ireland’s leading Mixed Martial Arts prospects, is set to compete on the very first Eire FC show against UK prospect Callum Stuart on December 2nd.

In what has been a very busy 2022 for Hammond (4-0), the Dublin man will look to keep his undefeated streak alive against Stuart (2-1) when they clash in the lightweight division. Eire FC made the announcement today via their Instagram page.

Hammond made his professional bow in November 2021 and the SBG standout put on a striking clinic enroute to a first round knockout against Ionuț Brostic at Heros Fight League 2. Jamie Hay fell victim to the 2018 IMMAF World Champion when he succumbed to ground strikes at Bellator 275 to pick up his second pro win.

Bogdan Blăjan was the third consecutive opponent to fail to make it out of the first round against Hammond, who went on to pick up his third finish in a row by knockout. Hammond was put through his toughest test to date in when he stepped in to take on Karomatullo Sufiev at Super League MMA 3 last June. After being badly hurt due to an illegal knee, the 26-year old showed incredible heart to recover and took home the decision win on the scorecard to move to a perfect 4-0.

Callum Stuart, who fights out of Kinetics Fight Academy, will provide the next challenge for Lee Hammond on December 2. The UK prospect brought some professional boxing and K-1 experience into his Mixed Martial Arts debut. Stuart went on to show that he also has some grappling when he secured a win by guillotine choke against Marcus Stevenson at UFL 6. Stuart suffered his first professional loss against Ndue Lleshi as he was force to tap due to a rear-naked choke before picking up his second submission win against Vinny Baldwin in his last outing.

Eire FC will put on it’s very first card on December 2 in Dublin, the venue is still TBD, stay tuned to SevereMMA.com for further updates on the card.
