A featherweight fight between Constantin Blanita (1-0) and Dorian Cliucinicov (2-2) is set for Cage Warriors 153 on Saturday 29th April in Dublin’s 3Arena. Multiple sources confirmed the matchup with SevereMMA.com.

The domestic showdown pits Dublin MMA gyms Team Ryano and Fantom MMA on opposite sides of the cage for Cage Warriors’ first show in the Republic of Ireland since November 2019.

Constantin Blanita will make his return to MMA competition after 2 years on the sidelines. We last saw the Team Ryano fighter overcome SBG Ireland’s Asael Adjoudj in his professional debut at Bellator 240 in February 2020. That decision victory has aged like fine wine, with Adjoudj compiling an impressive 4-0 run since then. Blanita, on the other hand, has not fought since.

Dorian Cliucinicov will be looking to rebound into the win column as he moves down a weight class to 145lbs to take on Blanita. Most recently, Cliucinicov suffered a 1st-round stoppage at the hands of Blanita’s teammate Adam Darby, a fight that was contested at a 160lbs catchweight. The Fantom MMA fighter will have the opportunity to seek revenge over Team Ryano as he takes on his second successive Finglas-based opponent.

Blanita vs Cliucinicov joins a growing number of Irish bouts announced for Cage Warriors return to 3Arena on Friday April 29th. Full card to date below:
