ONE Championship Announces Plans For Four U.S. Events In 2024

ONE Championship set sail westward for the first time this past May, taking over Colorado’s 1stBank Center for ONE Fight Night 10 in what was a monumental evening for Asia’s largest combat sports promotion.

Following the enormous success of the sold-out event, ONE has announced that it plans to return to the United States four times in 2024. 

The news was announced this past Thursday, 20th July, by ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong, who was excited to make it public.

“I am thrilled to announce that ONE Championship is coming back to the U.S. with four massive events in 2024,” Sityodtong said. 

“When we made our historic U.S. debut with ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, I was blown away by the support we received from our fans in the U.S.”

ONE Fight Night 10 was a memorable night for The Home of Martial Arts and was headlined by the biggest bout in the promotion’s history. 

Flyweight king Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson defended his World Title in a thrilling trilogy bout with Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes in the main event, with the rest of the battles on the card bringing nonstop martial arts action throughout the evening.

Sityodtong expects 2024’s trips back to the U.S. to be just as memorable, showcasing an array of disciplines in MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing and submission grappling matchups.

“ONE is home to the greatest martial artists in the world, and I’m excited to once again showcase our World Champions on American soil. To our fans that haven’t seen a live ONE event, I promise you an experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen.”

American fans took to stars like Stamp and Rodtang with ease in May, and part of the promotion’s immediate success in North America could be attributed to its deal with Prime Video.

ONE launched a revolutionary deal with the streaming service last year that would see its events streamed live and free to North American audiences, and it has proven to be hugely successful for both parties.

The Home of Martial Arts’ historic year continues with ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian on Prime Video on Saturday, 5th August, with another full lineup of incredible action set to electrify Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. 

Dates and locations for ONE’s U.S. return in 2024 are expected to be announced in the near future.
