Leah McCourt Out of Sinéad Kavanagh Rematch Due to Injury

Bellator 302 has suffered a blow, as its co-main event matchup between Leah McCourt and Sinéad Kavanagh has been cancelled.

Per multiple sources, Belfast fighter Leah McCourt has been forced out of the bout due to injury. A source close to the situation told SevereMMA.com that McCourt has suffered a broken rib and a torn oblique muscle.

McCourt and Kavanagh were set to lock horns for the second time. The pair faced off in Dublin’s 3Arena in 2022, a contest that saw Kavanagh emerge victorious. The stage was set for a return fixture in Belfast on Friday 22nd March.
