Updated Bellator Champion Series Belfast Card

A couple of changes have been made to the upcoming Bellator Champions Series card, which takes in Belfast on Friday 22nd March. A Bellator official revealed to SevereMMA.com that Tofiq Musayev (21-5) is out of his lightweight matchup vs Alfie Davis (16-4-1). Instead, Davis will take on England’s Oscar Ownsworth (8-2-1). Additionally, the middleweight preliminary bout between Steven Hill (7-0) and Jordan Newman (6-0) will no longer take place.

Bellator 302 is topped by a pair of world title bouts. Reigning 145lbs king, Patricio “Pitbull” Freire (35-7), is set to defend his featherweight crown vs Canada’s Jeremy Kennedy (19-3). In the main event, Corey Anderson (17-6, 1 NC) will square off against SBG Ireland’s Karl Moore (12-2) for the vacant light heavyweight world title in front of the Belfast fighter’s hometown crowd.
