UFC 319 – Severe MMA Staff Predictions

The death of the PPV is the talk of the town following UFC’s blockbuster broadcasting deal with Paramount was announced. Only fitting that arguably the best PPV headliner of the year goes down this Saturday in Chicago, IL. The unstoppable force meets the immovable object in the main event with undefeated Chechen-Swedish wrecking ball Khamzat Chimaev (14-0) seemingly poised to lift UFC gold for the first time. However, reigning king Dricus Du Plessis, though without a perfect MMA record, has yet to taste defeat inside the UFC Octagon. The South African’s unorthodox style has been too much for nine UFC opponents to date, and the champion has already notched two title defenses in the space of 13 months since winning the belt.
