Final SpikeTV ‘UFC Prelims’ earns 1.8 million viewers

UFC 141 took place this past Friday, Dec. 30, at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. In addition to the one-hour “UFC Prelims” special, the main card aired on pay-per-view, and other prelims streamed on Facebook. Pearson won his fight via split decision, and Castillo won his bout via split decision.

Of the 26 “UFC Prelims” specials Spike TV has aired to date, UFC 141’s ranks as the second best. The top-rated special came in early 2011 with UFC 126, which drew two million viewers.
