Colin ‘Freakshow’ Fletcher signed to the UFC; waiting on an opponent

Colin “Freakshow” Fletcher confirmed via his personal twitter earlier today, that he signed for the UFC before his Ultimate Fighter finale bout with Irishman “Stormin” Norman Parke, which he lost via decision.

Fletcher revealed that he doesn’t have an opponent yet but he had unsuccessfully attempted to secure a spot on the UFC on FUEL card in London in February, but was told the card was full.

“I signed with the UFC before TUF final and I wasn’t released so I’m currently waiting for a match up. Thought I’d say as people keep asking” – @dr_freakshow

“Freakshow” quickly became a fan favourite after bring his own brand of entertainment inside and outside of the octagon to The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes, which included snorting wasabi among other food items and running and hurdling around the TUF garden naked.

Fletcher is currently 8-2 in his professional MMA career, with his two wins on The Ultimate Fighter counting as exhibition bouts and not professional.

He also holds a notable first round Brabo choke submission victory over tough Irishman Ronan McKay.
