It has been a good week for Italian MMA and Michele Martignoni ensured it stayed that way. Martignoni got the unanimous decision victory in a come from behind win over Weslley Maia.

Sam Creasey may have put himself into the number one contender slot in the flyweight division, Creasey dropped Adam Amarasinghe in the first round, and went on to finish the fight in round two, looking massively impressive while doing so.

Jake Hadley was crowned the new flyweight champion when he dominated and defeated Luke Shanks to a five round unanimous decision victory. That win sees Hadley knocking on the door of a UFC callup and we should expect to see him there real soon.
