IMMAF World Cup: Team Ireland Compete

The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) is holding the 2021 World Cup in Prague, Czech Republic. The action takes place between the 8th-11th September and will see 176 athletes compete across Junior and Senior divisions. All fighters checked in today in the Hotel International, where the tournament draws were made and the rules meeting took place.

Team Ireland will compete as an all-Ireland team for the first time at an IMMAF Championships, sending athletes in both the Junior and Senior divisions. 36 fighters will compete across the brackets alongside 9 coaches. Head Coach Andy Ryan is joined by Danny Corr, Gerry Poltorak, Marlene Griffin, Danni Neilan, Frankie Corr, Paddy Holohan, Alexander O’Sullivan and Fionn O’Rourke.

The teams feature a mixture of IMMAF veterans and first timers alike. Below are the fighters donning the green tracksuit.
