The main event was a fantastic contest which went all five rounds. Marina Rodriguez won her second main event in a row as she overcame Mackenzie Dern on the scorecards. Rodriguez was the much superior fighter when the fight was standing. Dern was forced to swarm with punches in order to close the distance, clinch and take the fight to the mat. Dern managed to do that in round two and had her advarary in big trouble at times. Rodriguez showed great heart and a solid gas tank as she grew into the fight and took home the unanimous decision.
