Lee Hammond Added to Bellator Dublin Card; Set to Face Jamie Hay

Bellator 275, which takes place on February 25th at the 3Arena in Dublin, continues to go from strength to strength. Top Irish prospect and long-time SBG HQ member Lee Hammond is set to make the second walk of his professional career on home soil in the 3 Arena against Manchester’s Jamie Hay (2-0).

Lee Hammond had a storied amateur career spanning 26 fights. 24 of those fights came under the IMMAF banner, where he won a bronze (2015), silver (2016) and finally becoming a World Champion in 2018.

Hammond’s professional debut came late last year in which he delivered a first round TKO win in the Hero’s Fight League promotion over a highly touted Romanian grappler Ionuț Brostic (4-0, now 4-1).

Hammond has been a prospect that many fans have been excited to see turn over to the professional ranks. It will be interesting to see how he performs under the Bellator banner.
